READY TO ORDER

Do you see a design that catches your eye and would like to proceed? Purchase a deposit or contact us directly for an invoice. If you're in the area, we'd love to have you come by to go over papers, additional designs and details to place your order.


THE PROCESS/TIMING

1. SELECT A DESIGN

Select a design from our collection. Feel free to combine elements to create something completely new and different. As designers, we love a creative challenge and can fully customize any package (additional time and rates may apply - see additional information below).

During this process, we work together by selecting the best colors, papers and printing techniques, as well as lettering styles (fonts) to create your personalized stationery.

2. PROOFS & APPROVAL

After selecting the design, a digital version is emailed to review and make any necessary changes. Up to three rounds (per card) will be sent (additional fee for 3+ rounds). Please allow 3-5 business days to receive initial proofs. Turnarounds begin upon receipt of deposit, final wording and not when communication begins.

Once the digital proof(s) is/are approved, a hard copy is created and/or mailed (time permitting/upon request) OR, we move forward with your approved items to begin the printing process. Most orders take approximately 1-2 weeks (excluding custom design).

3. PRINTING (most orders take 2 weeks or less)

It takes approximately two weeks for printing (example: approximately +1 week more for larger/more complex orders or specialty printing) + shipping (if applicable) of your invitations. Local orders can schedule a pick-up for before or after hours and/or weekend pick-ups when studio is normally closed. Domestic orders will ship via USPS Priority (2-3 business days). International orders shipping via USPS Priority are 7-10 business days.

CUSTOM DESIGN (3 months minimum - please inquire for accurate times)

Or if you like our aesthetic and would like a completely new design - one that doesn't already exist in our shop online or retail location - give us a call to talk specifics. We'll then begin upon approval of the design fee and receipt of deposit. With respect to all designers, please do not submit someone else's work to be copied.

We DO NOT design for free or in a rush. This ensures that each person gets our time and attention they deserve.

ADDITIONAL DESIGN & PROCESS INFORMATION

Ready-made Design

It's easy to browse our shop items to find a design that you'd like to proceed with. Then place a sample order, an online deposit, or schedule an appointment (by phone or in person) to proceed. Please note that all wording, colors and papers can be customized to fit your needs. So what you see online, is not set in stone and can be changed.

You can customize further by adding or removing accessories to make it your own! There are no additional fees to add/remove cards or change the text, or to make a single color change to any of our ready-made designs. As long as the design and layout remains the same, we can begin right away. You may begin an order from our online shop or contact us directly for an invoice.

You found something you like but there are changes you'd like to see happen? Then it sounds like a good fit and you can proceed with a semi-custom design below

Semi-custom Design

You see and like a ready-made design but you’d like to add or remove an element, or combine a couple designs - we can do that! This may include to edits that move elements on the design, adding an element from another design, changing fonts to a design that is based off of typographical design layouts / designs and will change the original look & feel. There usually isn't a fee for simple changes but we can discuss this before we begin. Changes that require a little more work begin at $35+ and will discuss prior to proceeding. This is NOT custom design so the fee will much less than a custom design from scratch.

Haven't found exactly what you're looking for but you like what you see so far? Then it sounds like it's safe to say that you would be happiest with a full CUSTOM design.

Custom Design

A custom designed package is for a completely new design - one that doesn't already exist in our online or retail shop. There is a fee to begin and work commences upon deposit placement. You can send images/styles/inspiration boards of what you'd like and we'll then discuss details and parameters.

***Please allow 3-6 months for custom work.*** We DO NOT design for free or in a rush. Please inquire for current design turnarounds from January-September.

Order Submission Details

When you submit an order, please submit final content/text information. Please also confirm that your order will be correct to your specifications with regards to paper, quantities, spelling, type style, ink color(s), and specific set-up and wording style. If you have seen a previously printed sample, confirm that it will be to your liking before agreeing to move forward. This includes proofs, materials and design.
